Simone Louis was born in London, UK, and has Greek
Cypriot roots. Since 1994, she has been based in Stuttgart, Germany. With a background as a graphic designer, Simone has worked in London, Nicosia, and Stuttgart.

In 2011 her desire to rediscover her creative intuition began with a two-year course in 'Ausdrucksmalen' (expressive painting) - a spontaneous, process-orientated form of painting with no set subject, expectation, or goal. While she has been painting since then, Simone only began exhibiting her work in 2023. Her work is experimental and guided by intuition.

​In 2021 she became a certified teacher of the Tibetan
5 Element Practices (Lu Jong, Tibetan healing yoga). Further confirming her belief that 'feeling', trusting the process, as young children do, can lead to increased creativity and balance.
